Smile 1985 ATC70 rescue/restoration

I saved this little beast from my buddies front yard it was just sitting out in the dirt under a tree his dad said it hadnt run in over 2 years and needed a new carb so he sold it to me for $100 and i brought it back to my shop and cleaned out the carb and guess what........it fired right up no smoke/leaks or anything transmission is great tires filled right up and held air everything works i changed the oil too i am beginning to restore it im starting with just cleaning it............anyone know how to get the engine polished up real nice? im having the frame sandblasted and am going to repaint it and get some OEM parts for it this thing is the coolest bike i have ever seen it is a SURVIVOR!!!

oh by the way im new here im 16 years old and live in south florida and have a love for vintage hondas and pitbikes!!!

What a steal for $100. This thread will help you polish up your motor. Lots of OEM ATC70 parts are discontinued.

Thanks i understand these things are pretty rare? since it runs fine it wont take much to get it looking good im going to have the frame powder coated and polish up the engine then get some new plastics and find an original tank
