Hey there, I found that the coil high tenstion lead off my (Atc70 73) was broken and that none of the bike shops over here can't get an original one.

I got a coil from a Pit Bike shop and the guy told me it will work fine but i can't get a spark now.

I put a volt meter on the wire coming from the generator and it seems to be producing some volts.

So is the brand new coil no good, wrong type or could there be something else wrong.

Any help would be great.

I would take the coil back to the pit bike shop and win this one off ebay. Did they give you a 6 volt coil?
