does any one know where i can have a 1985 atc 70 gas tank restored? not only does it have some small dents in it but it also has a hole in the belly and someone tried to jb weld it!

if you aren't totally against it, get a plastic one, no rust, no dents, but it kinda sucks to get stickers to actually stick to them.

dont waste your time and just get a new tank.

they're no longer available new.

try and pick up a decent one on ebay. good luck with the search.

i know they dont make them anymore but i always see them everywhere

1981-1985 tanks are the same but are hard to find in decent shape. Usually the inside of the tank is very badly rusted and the tanks are dented by the fork tubes. ( bent steering stop). This one on ebay looks like it has had the Kreem job.

i really want to keep the stock tank i just found a guy who can fix the hole in the bottom and reline the tank so we will see how it turns out.THANKS FOR ALL THE REPLYS!!
