| honda trx70 bogging
hi fellas. just joined the group and i was wondering if the guy with the trx70 ever fixed the problem with it. i have a trx70 that is doing the same thing. it cranks first pull and idles o.k. but engine bogs when giving it the gas. i have cleaned carb and did a few other things like checking for air leaks and stuff. any ideas? appreciate the help.

Check you needle adjustment, you may need to bump up your main jet a couple sizes.....

Check your pilot jet, pull it out and verify that you can see light through it, also with it at idle, try spraying some carb cleaner where the carb meets the manifold and where the manifold meets the head. See if the idle rises up.

hey fellas. i appreciate the help. i found out that it was a atc70 carbuerator on the trx70 of mine. the problem was the float needle valve plunger (aftermarket) was a little longer than the honda needle valve. so i changed that along with the main jet. the main jet on the atc carb was a #58 and i needed a #62 for the trx70. so i changed both out and now it runs great. thanks to all.
