can you use a CDI/Rev Box from a xr/crf50 in the trx70? I have one with no spark and I am not sure if it is the CDI or the stator. The Coil ohms out the same as the one on my 50, the CDI has the same plugs but there is one more wire in the trx70 harness where there is an empty spot in the xr/crf harness so I don't want to wreck my CDI from my 50 if it won't work

Is the extra wire a mint green with a red line (tracer) on it, by any chance? That is for the neutral indicator switch on the TRX70. If the rest of the wires in both harnesses are in the same spot in the plug, you should be able to use the XR/CRF50 CDI in your TRX.
