TRX70 Slowly Fading idle to stall?

I'm working on two 1986 TRX70's for a friend. I put a brand new carb and spark plug on one of them and it runs great but if i let it sit and idle the idle will slowly drop until it finally stalls.

I searched for idle posts but couldn't find any.

Thanks

Could be a float adjustment.

Re: TRX70 Slowly Fading idle to stall?

Thanks guys ill give the air/fuel mixture and air filter a shot and post back. I just ran it up the block and back wide open 1st-4th and it ran great so I'm thinking you guys are on the right track, because it only has issues at idle.

I'm also going to check for a post on adjusting the valves, don't know what they should be set at.

0.002" intake and 0.003" exhaust. I have a video on how to do it but I can't post the link at school. If you're in a hurry. Search YouTube for "how to set honda 50/70 valves" or something like that. My YT username is TheAlexManVideos.
