| Trx90 Lighting Coil and Regulator install
Just figured I share my Lights install on my 2001 Trx90. First off to start making 12v, I installed a Moose Stator/Lighting coil, I believe it was 90watt. I then proceeded to install a Piaa 4in ATP Offroad light kit, but needed a good place to mount them. So I installed a DG front bumper/push bar and a set of Piaa Light Mount brackets.

| Re: Trx90 Lighting Coil and Regulator install
When I hooked up the lights to the 12v source wire and started the quad, the included relay was clicking violently and the lights were dim at idle, so as I increased the rpm's, the lights got brighter until I revved it to high and blew out both bulbs. At that point I realized I obviously should have had some type of regulator/rectifier installed. Not wanting to deal with the issue of the lights being dim at idle I decided to also install a battery(P/U RTX4L-BS) along with a regulator(Trail Tech 150watt).
