Re: 24 hour endurance race

Are you talking about an endurance race on pit bikes or big bikes?

That is why you put together a team

I ran the first M1GP 8 hour endurance solo, ended up with about 3 hours of seat time in 100+ degree weather. I did that for charity, and plan to do it again next year.

Most likely Grange Motor Circuit in Apple Valley, CA (near Barstow).

Depends on how you define expensive. The 8H2 was $120 and we had a full track. One of the advantages of mini racing is the price. I spend about as much in one year to race as some people do for a couple of events on a bigger bike (since my tires last all season, and I burn about 1 gallon of fuel per weekend).

I was making a comparison to big bike racing

Big bikes burn through a set of race tires about once a race weekend (depending on different factors). My tires last me all year (more if I need to).
