A screw driver or a small c clamp should work just fine.

that black thing is the brake piston that pushes the pads against the rotor so you can stop. to push that in what i did was take one of my old pads that came out and a big flathead screwdriver and push the old pad against the piston and it should go back in. just take your time at it. by the way im only 15 i feel your pain lol. youll learn. |

probably a easier way is let the pressure off the caliper by opening the bleed screw, then you can push the piston in probably a lot easier!

push piston in w/ a flathead, use the side as leverage to push it back in. Thats an 85 right? I have same bike |

bleed the caliper and watch your brake fluid resvoir if it doesnt run dry then you wont have to bleed it at all infact you didnt even need to take off the rear wheel to do your pads you can just bleed your caliper and push the pads apart and they wouldve slid right in

you still have to bleed the caliper top off your fluid and open up the bleeder screw.....then you can push the piston in by prying it with a flathead screwdriver then close the screw in and your set

Just hold steady pressure on the piston with a screw driver and you won't need to open the bleeder. It might take a minute tops, but it will save a good amount of time since you never crack the bleeder you never have to bleed it.
