| I need a piston for an 82' Yamaha MX80
Hi Guys, Right now I'm looking for a piston kit for a 1982 Yamaha MX80 (47.5). This is the bike. ( http://www.planetminis.com/album.php...pictureid=7047 ) I have found a Wiseco kit but they want 170 bucks for it. I was wondering if anybody knows of another piston company with a little more of an economical approach. Or what other bikes use the same pistion. ie yz80, gt80. Thanks in advance. Shane |

They're all over the eBay. Interchangeable: * Yamaha MX80 (1980 - 1982) * Yamaha GT1 (1973 - 1975) * Yamaha TY80 (1974 - 1975) * Yamaha YZ80 (1974 - 1975) I doubt the 76-79 was different enough to matter, too.

No way...thats the first bike i ever owned. Bought it with my paper route $$ i paid $90.00 for it. it had a vise grip for the kick starter and then we had to put it on the shifter to ride it...LOL Nice bike....thanks for the memories. |
