kx 65 swingarm dimensions

Can anyone give me an idea how long the swingarm is on a kx 65 and the width between the frame and the aproximate width where the motor sits in between the swing arm, as well as the over all length of the shock. thanks,

Hey art that's a good question. I really hope someone can get those measurements so you can get started on your newest project, can't wait to see how it goes. I to would like this upgrade if you can do it. Later

Re: kx 65 swingarm dimensions

I have a swinger sitting right here. I'll measure it tomorrow night when I have more time. What in the world are you building now Art? This can't possibly be going on the 140 could it be?

While I have you Art-- I'm on a new pit bike project since my 100 is basically done. I'll get going on it after the first of the year. I'm doing a 14/17 inch wheeled '05 CRF150F. I'm planning on a Fox CR85 shock with a slightly modded clevice, and a 150R front end. I talked to Pro Wheel about a 14 inch rear wheel, and they said they could get something to work out. I was half thinking about putting a 14 inch rear wheel on an XR250, and bolting up a 150R front end to it and running that, but I just went with the 150F... Ha! Ha!

Re: kx 65 swingarm dimensions

OK-- I imagine that you mean the distance between the pivot bolt center to the beginning of the rear axle adjustment area. That's 17 inches. You can move the axle rearward from there.

The area between the frame is 7 inches, and the area that the motor displaces is 4 inches.

Let me know if you need anything else. --L*64
