my friend has a 1992 kx80 that has a sleeved cylinder but looks to be worn down. on a sleeved cylinder is there still plating or can he just hone the cylinder or have it reborded and not have to worry about plating it.

i found the answer. you dont plate a sleeved cylinder you just bore it you, only plate a stock cylinder.
