Pax can get you a big bore kit, works shocks for the rear and a few other things. Check them

If your/her future plans are to race, check the regs of your local organization. If it's an "injected" class, then the PW will get slaughtered by KTM mini adventure's and Cobras (both are class legal). Some clubs have a shaft drive class (PW50, JR50, ect). At 2 I assume you have her on training wheels, so no need throwing money at the bike. The PW's suspension is what hold's the kids back from going faster once they get up to speed. IMO there's no point sinking hundreds of $ into the suspension, you can pick up a KTM mini pretty cheap. I sold my boy's 07 PW for $700, and bought an 07 KTM for $750. No one makes different colored plastics for the PW that I'm aware of. Don at Pax would know. I have seen a rattle can job in pink at the track though...lol Before moving my son up to a KTM, here's what I did to the PW. I removed the oil injection, put a Uni filter on it and removed the airbox, up one on the main jet, and put in lighter clutch springs to let the motor rev a bit before the clutch engaged. Those mods definately woke it up a little. Hope this helps |

Stopped at the local all-brands bike shop for a tubagasket, with my 2 year old daughter. She liked the looks of the CRF, but said "too big". Liked the PeeDub, took a few pops-powered laps around the showroom, then climbed off and said "too blue". I think I'll hunt up an old one and pink it out for next spring. Her BD's in July, and she should be ready by then

Even if you aren't looking for more power, they run a lot better if you turn the oil pump down to .020 travel and run good oil, drop 2 sizes on the main jet.
