Can you place a PW80 top end on a PW50? If so are there any other changes that would have to be done?

Nope. Different duck. YT and YFM 60 top ends go on, though.

Not too bad from Yamaha for new, used on the eBay, from me. They're around.

How much do they go for from you?

About the same as new from Yamaha, but mine's got a fresh bore, and is cut for compression. $85. Add $75 for boring, chamfering ports, milling head.
