why does this thing run so hot it has oil but the plug is bone dry good coloration though the oil reservoir was dry when i got it i put in oil but i must have chased an air bubble cuz the thing locked up got it unsiezed but it still runs too hot i bled the oil line how can i tell if it is getting oil

The Yam injections rarely fail. Maybe run some premix in the tank until it goes all smokey from the pump kicking in?

They make a removal plate, but a working pump, turned down to .020 travel, and Maxima, makes a great setup.

Top end is likely toast, if it stuck. Good time for a YT60 jug
