got a chance to pick up a 2002 ktm 50 senior l/c for a sum of 600 dollars. bike looks new, runs great. im thinking about picking it up either to let the little girl ride it(she already has a wheeler), sell to make a profit, or the likely route trade it in for a four wheeler so mom can ride. anyone know what there worth? whatcha think |

If you wanna get it for your daughter it's a good deal, but to make a profit on it-- I've been seeing those going in the $750 range. If you want to ride it yourself-- I'd pass on it when you can get a 65 that's nice for $1000, and it would be a little bigger, and it would smoke that 50 with an adult on it. --L*64

YEA, i know its not for me, but my step daughter(6 1/2) watched the 4-h fair race i was in, and and at the end of the night she ran up to me and asked me if i would buy her a bike. lol she already has one of those china 110cc four wheeler, but really hasnt got to ride it much.(my fault, plus an older sister age but if it didnt work out maybe trade it in for an automatic 4x4 for there mom, plus then we ALL could ride | |

all depends on what kind of shape its in Until you look at it there is no way to give a true answer if its worth it. 600 it could be mint barely ridden and its the steal of a lifetime, or it could be thrashed leaking forks, shock, in need of a top end, bottom end rebuild etc... |
