is this head usable?
I've got what I believe is a ct70 head. The numbers cast into it are E1 9L. I may be wrong but I'm under the impression that the ct70 head is similar to the atc70 head, but with bigger valves. Where did i hear this? Did i just dream this? Not sure, but i've got the head... and there's just one questionable spot on the head.
The boss where the shaft that holds the rocker fits into, has a crack.
Here's the best pic i can get of it.

The rocker shaft fit's in there with no play for the time being. What I'm not sure is if over time this may start to spread, and let the rocker assembly flop around.
I'm hoping that the head is usable, or easily fixable. I'm also hoping that it would be an upgrade to my atc70. I'm planning to use it along with a tb88cc jug and piston if so.

Re: is this head usable?
I have a left over atc70 head, you might have to tap one of the intake bolt holes to the next size, but you can have it for the cost of shipping.
Update: head has been claimed
