    1973 ATC70 question

I went to look at a 1977 CR125 a few months ago and the owner also showed me a first year atc70. The pull start will need a rebuild, the fenders and gas tank are in good shape, and supposedly it will run with some basic maintenance. I wish I had pictures, but I don't. It is in decent shape, not bad, not great. He wants $500.00. Is that the going rate? I thought his price was on the high side. Thanks for any insight.

The 1973 and 1974 ATC70's are worth more than the 1978+ models. Make sure the exhaust is all there and isn't full of holes. Pullstart is slighly different. Make sure you can get rebuild parts for it.

If the tank was not rusty, and all the parts are there, $500 is reasonable.

78+ are more fun to ride and look better IMO. $500 seams a little high unless its in ok running shape.. ATC70's go for more money on the west coast then they do here on the east coast

I appreciate the replies. It looks like precious little parts are still available from Honda. Hopefully I can purchase it. Time will tell.
