Sloppy steering might be the steering stem bushing just under the bars.
Spangler's sold a repro one for a while but I can't find it on their site. Home
Some folks used some PVC with good results, too.
Probably some slop in the tire rod ends (easy fix if it bothers you) and/or spindle king pin bushings (PITA since Honda does not make them anymore)
It's interesting, a lot of parts look the same as an ATC70 but aren't. I know fro experience these are different:
- rear brakes (shoes, drum, etc)
- rear skid plate
- air filter can
- heel guards
On the plus side, you get:
- CDI (if it has the original engine - my first one had an ATC70 engine in it)
- front brakes

Where the steering stem connects between the 2 wheels, it's extremely sloppy (metal to metal). Something has to be missing, it turns side to side quite a bit without engaging the tie rods at all.
Let me know.
Thank,
Jeremy
