Recommendations for restoration

Soon to cosmetically restore a ZB50 to eventually sell once reassembled. Could someone offer some advice on the following:

Tank- I'll have it resprayed- should I put back the decals or leave it solid color?
Tires- If i replace them which pair appeals to the most uses?
Missing bits- signals, mirrors, reflectors etc will the return from finding a few missing parts be worth my investment & time?
Seat cover- mine has been patched in, about the size of a quarter, better to replace it with aftermarket or leave?

A different bike, but a few more questions
Where is the best place for me to source a new shock for a monkey R, or can mine be rebuilt?
Best non braided line to use for making up connections to an oil cooler?

Tires. Read this thread.These are the best and the ideal size.

Stock turn signals are extremely hard to find and most of the reflectors are still available from Honda. Get what ever you can still get in Honda's inventory.
The stock ZB shock is pretty bad. Spend some money and get a good one. Great investment.KYB, Ohlins and Showa make nice rear shocks. Stock NSR50 shock will work.It looks like the ZB shock but much beefier.The replacement seat covers are good but not as good as the original Honda covering.

Thank You, is there a general size designation given to this size/type of shock? something I can search and compare against or is it just the eye to eye dimension?

As I recall the shock is.... 210 mm eye to eye.
