    Old Build - Revisited

I am trying to get back into my Mini's. I love my old ZB build but it needs some attention or at least the basics, clean her up, valves & oil.

The motor came from a fellow PM member jmurray192 and is a Honda Nice, TJR, +R Head. Kawi KSR forks, Brembo brakes, and a little Ohlin for the rear. The bike was built with a ton of help from Brad Reynolds and Z for which I am grateful. I still get comments almost everytime I ride it.

I thought I would share a pic of her in the current neglected state.

    Thanks,

    Greg

Thanks Todd! I still recognize a bunch of folks and great to see they are still at it! I had lunch with Brad the other day and picked up his Nice motor from his old Monkey. (Thanks for moving my misplaced thread regarding electronics). When is the last time Dan surfaced? I know Brad kept a few things, I hope Dan did as well. If I recall correctly, you had some of the cleanest ATC70's around? You still into the ATC's?

That ZB in that terrible, neglected state, looks better than my nicest bike...by far.

I haven't seen Dan on PM in years. I know he still has a lot of real nice minibike parts. Dan is more into the vintage outboard motors these day. I think at one time he had like 20 of them. I talked to him about a year ago because Honda50.com was going to bite the dust because he was sick of paying for it. Luckily Vince at Tbolt was able to retrieve all the valuable information from the site before it closed down. I am still into the ATC's.

Ya know before I bought the Nice motor I ran a very early Lifan 150 on the ZB. I needed a dual coil stator and Vince came through. I clearly recall a conversation where Vince called me after I bought some goodies from him just to follow up. He made some comment about not knowing for sure if it would work but simply followed up to make sure. I will spend with TBOLT again no doubt. There are a ton of cool pics on that old site, glad it was saved.

So that is where the nice motor ended up! I have Brad's monkey. When you're ready for the xr100 to have a new home, message me! welcome back!
