    Zb mild build

I've started a moderate build on a ratty zb50 I bought last year. It had been sitting for years so I tore it down and blasted most everything and had the parts powdercoated. The swingarm was bent and had some booger weld gussets bracing it up but I straightened it out and tig welded real gussets. 114cc 4 speed auto motor with a billet clutch and V2 head. Waiting on the tank at the body shop and then I can start building the exhaust.

Very cool and nice to see the progress. Are you painting the front hub brake plate? What is the size and brand of tires are you using? Get a better back shock.

I have the other front hub painted black now and just have to swap it. As far as the tires they are 120/90-10" and fit tight but they do clear. Any suggestions on a rear shock?

Read through this thread. It gives you a few options. I like the Ohlins but they are expensive.
