    Hi guys,

I m 33 and i live in the south of France.

    I own a Pbr st125 that i m slowly modding :

    twin taillight

    kitaco light supports

    twin rheadlight

    kitaco winklers

Gazi rear shock (was not installed when i took the pic)

    Thump handlebar

    here's a pic :

The stock exhaust will be replaced soon by a Faddybike especially for zb/pbr (i should receive it in february).

I hope i will be able to help as well as being helped if needed.

Long life to PM and ZB fans/modders too.

"Z" ? That would be me.. Darn Frenchy's stealing my identity....

Zento - I would encourage you not to get the Faddy exhaust. It's not a very good pipe and they don't fit that well. Contact Luc Debondt in Belgium at dax.be and get a price on the good up type exhaust for the ZB50/Skyteam/Monkey R that actually fits and creates good performance gains. Tell him Dan Smith Sent you.

You can see the exhaust on one of the bikes that Luc Built in the past.

I'd get you one, but Luc is more local to you

"Z", I won't use that acronym again, sorry man

About the faddybike pipe $hit then, i almost paid it.

The problem is that i couldn't find any other exhaust manufacturer that build "inside the body" exhaust for zb, and i didn't want a "down" one.

I browsed almost all the european websites with no luck.

So i asked a local dealer in Corsica (he also manage one the best mini4t forums in France) to buy one directly to Faddy thailand because he knows them well and they are making some special parts together (additonal tank for dax at low cost but good quality, and they also plan to bluid some cool 12 inches wheels soon).

He accepted my request and bought 5 pipes to be recieved in february. So i would be an a$$ if he would say now "no thanks, finally i don't want it"...

I readed good reviews on faddy pipes (best quality/price) so i m kinda surprised you said it's not that good. I know you always give good advices and i would be glad if you could explain more on this.

By the way, I will have it at a cool price (around 160€). I couldn't afford more than 200€ including transport fees anyway. But the one you posted looks good, although the "filter" is a bit long. Which brand is it ?

Thanks for the help "Z", and sorry for the steal and my crappy english !

    Cheers,

    Zento

    Re: New ZB/PBR addict

Talk to Luc Debondt in Belgium if you want more information on the exhaust. It's not overly long and is the best performing up pipe for the ZB50 made and fits like a glove.

Their are two models of upswept faddybike models.

MonkeyR model wont fit a pbr because it makes a turn right after it leaves the frame.

What you need is the pbr model, it's longer because the frame has a strenghtener to the seatframe. If you still want to buy it, make sure you get this version!

Other upswept mufflers won't fit because you have that strenghtening-piece from frame to seatframe. What you can do is buy a zb or monkeyR frame and then you can mount any muffler you want that is upswept possible for monkeyR.

Or another replica frame is that from a badboy, that also doens't have the strenghteing piece.

If my monkey-r is finished i love to take it for a spin in or to the south of france.

Hope you enjoy you're pbr. greetings Jan (belgique )

    Welcome Zento!

I hope you find our forum to be as useful and enjoyable as I have found it. The ST/ZB section is quite a small but loyal group.

I'm sure your pipe will be good, particularly if you can get the best out of the 5 ordered.

    Thanks again for the input.

Ok, i have an answer from Luc DeBondt :

The exhaust is a Mitsumoto Japan

around 2 months before it can be shipped

and the worst part : it cost 400€ + 30€ for shipping... (630$)

I can't afford that, so i will stick with the Faddy pipe.

    Thanks anyway.

It appears your prices are higher in Europe then in the USA. Ouch. Upon further thought, stick with the Faddy Exhaust for the PBR frame, as noted above, they make two exhausts and you'll want the exhaust specifically made for the PBR frame and not the ZB/Monkey R frame.

Keep us posted on your projects.
