Good thread and quick question on the forks... Did you ever find heavier springs?

I fitted my '79 MX100 (27mm forks) with a '75 MX100 triple clamp (30mm) forks so I could upgrade the front end a bit. The forks I got are the 30mm ones off the '82 YZ80J and I can't find heavier springs anywhere.

I found this list of 30mm forks but no indication on length... Cincinnati Cafe Racer & Vintage MotorCycle Club | Motorcycle Fork Tube Sizes

I sourced a pair of 82 kx80 forks to gaffle the springs out of to use from what I read in one of the old hop up articles, however I never actually used them when I rebuilt my forks because I found the stockers to still have a good buoyant rate so I just put them back together with those. still looking for a terry fork kit for those forks though. Super hard to find....

Just a couple of updates, the bike itself is pretty much finished just waiting on the gold rims, I think it would add to the trickness factor of it, And all I need left to do is powdercoat the hubs and zinc plate the brake rod. Plus new sprockets. Here is the bike DG pipe & silencer, hand grips ,brake & clutch perches, gunner gasser throttle,& all it's labels and factory effex background number vinyl applied...
