    kx100 (SICK!)

Just traded a 98 yz250 for a 06 kx100, "I can not believe how fast this bike is!" It only ways 150 lbs and I read that it dyno's between 27 and 29 hp. Compared to my tricked out ttr125 and my ssr 125,this thing leaves them so far in the dust its not even funny! My buddy has an 05 trx450 quad with a 480 big bore kit that can only hold me one bike length a dragrace, he couldnt believe it, and its totally stock. I cant wait to run up on one of those new crf150r's,It'll smoke em!

you sure itll smoke em? the 150 will take them in the holeshot. my friend runs his yz105 against them they always get the holeshot until he takes them out.

Im gonna take my GPS with me the next time I ride, Im curious to see the top speed of this thing? I think the four strokes do have the torque advantage of holeshot, but the kx just revs so fast and pulls so long, its like the thing doesnt have a redline? Im sure the yz105 would beat the 150r too, the modded two smokers are hard to beat!

"Its not faster but way funner!" the yz would leave the 480 like 2 bike lengths. The stock suspension is surprisingly good, I mostly just do fast trail and woods riding small to mid sized jumps and I think this thing will be hard to catch in the trails.

i read the whole paragraph. But he traded a 250 for a 100 and says how he can't belive how fast it is. I would think coming off a 250 he would consider the 100 slow. Espically if he is trading for it. That's why I asked that question. I understand if he finds it more fun just like how we ride mini bikes that will never be as fast as a big bike but have just as much or more fun on them.

my stock yz feels the same way. the 105 actually doesnt keep up with the 150 its just that my friends was the fastest 85 rider in virginia and the 150 kid was just starting

I would say that the ole yz would beat the kx maybe 2 or 3 bike lengths what I'm saying is the power to weight ratio is awesome, the kx only weighs 150 lbs so their are a lot of bikes that it will smoke, It completely wasted my cr125 in a race. It was a 99 with a full fmf gnarly pipe and rejeting, complete new motor top and bottom end, The kx is bone stock. If you ride a kx 100 you'll see exactly what im talking about.
