Every bike I look at it's the same story. "I own the bike but the title is not in my name." Same story of the eBay 1971 Yamaha 175 CT-1 in Georgia. Just called the guy. Same story! Nobody wants to pay the tax, have the title in their name and have the bike currently registered.

It's sad because when you have the money to buy, the owner's don't take responsibility and pay the fees. It's not in my buying criteria. Are all the owner's too cheap to do it right?

Yeah its pretty hard to come across a bare frame with a title. The last one I had I sold for 100 bucks locally to a guy who actually worked at my local honda dealer. The easiest way to get a titled bike is to buy one off craigslist for as cheap as you can and then part it out to recoup your costs. I've picked up titled bikes on craigslist for as low as 480 bucks. My lil stocker 50 I have right now is titled and registered in my name so when I take it camping they can't give me no shit lol.

Yeah it sucks cause I wanna ride my bike in my area & the cops are a pain in the ass + my front end looks like a chopper (bent) so in that case I need a frame with title that isn't bent , I'm willing to pay $100-$175 for a frame with title even a little more if I can I'll buy a frame with title even if it's not in ur name as long as its legit paper work
