Re: Lifan 140cc Need advise
I definitely appreciate the help i think im going to wait on the H.O that i have read about from pitster. I think I'm going to go through the bike and get rid of the weak links and spend my money on good suspension, wheels... just about
everything but the frame and swing arm and just wait till this motor dies.
One more thing does anybody know what aftermarket triple trees will fit my bike but with upgraded forks and to firepower i live in caseville Michigan so would i be able to pick up parts from you or would you prefer shipping
Thanks Renton

Renton,
You're more than welcome to visit the FPM compound, but the mailman's rates are cheaper than $2.69/gal for regular, on things smaller than motors.
Or,,, if you cover the wings, I can meet you at Hooter's in Bay City, 1/2 way
Also, you may want to consider saving up and grabbing a bike that has all the parts you want to buy, or at least most of them. You'd save money in the long run, likely. Zac Clark's LXR, for instance. Linkage PP with a Lifan-cover Z155, for $2000 is a steal. Two G's won't make your Coolster THAT cool
If you've got your heart set on a roll your own deal, check: Pit Bike Parts | Wholesale Cycle
I'm a dealer for them, but don't have most of the non-engine stuff on my site.
By the time you're ready for one, the PP motor may have spent some time in the public, to verify all's swell with the package. I have other options...
Thanks for your interest, and feel free to PM or call if you have any questions.

I would also recommend saving a while and buying a better bike - no use spending good cash on a not so good bike - you never get a return on your investment and it will cost you more in the long run.
