So my chain came loose and it busted into the motor. Some of the metal broke and the wires right there were hanging but all seem to be connected. I pulled it out and tightened the chain up, now when I kick it, it does not turn over. Anyone know what my problem may be, I wanna ride.
And, if the crankshaft isn't bent, you're still going to need one of THESE, because your pulse trigger (arrow below) is broken off of the stator plate.

TBolt, I have an YX150 in my CRF70 and the aftermarket inner rotor shit the bed. I put my stock Honda ingnition in my YX and it works good... But daaamn does that fly wheel feel heavy when trying to accel. I know I'm used to the inner rotor, but I was wondering if your stator and fly wheel made for the YX is lighter then Honda CRF 70 flywheel.

Sorry for the thread jack.
Lighter than a standard flywheel by one full pound but not as light as an Inner rotor ignition

Whoa! That's waaaay better! Got any discounts or cupons? Or is it possible to buy just the fly wheel? I only see that particular fly wheel sold with the stator.
I see a "standard" fly wheel but it looks different. Is it the same 1lbs lighter then the stock Honda fly wheel?
No, it kicks fine, I said I kicked it 3 times. Just the motor is not doing anything. Thanks tbolt ill check your tech section and try to figure it out
Your engine will not start because as stated your pick up is broken and therefore your engine isn't getting a spark. You will need a new stator, and you'll be good to go!

To switch over to an outor rotor kit (which IMHO is better than an in or rotor) you will need the new stator, flywheel, cdi, and harness. I've done a few on hondas and everyone loves them. If I had a honda... that's what I'd run for what its worth
You can't mix-n-match the flywheels and stators, the pickups are in different locations on the flywheel. You have to use Honda flywheels with Honda stators, and the same with the Chinese ones.
ok so i got my new stator, but i cant get the screws out that hold the old one on with out stripping them. I got like 6 phillips screwdrivers, but they just wont budge. Any suggestions, i dont want to strip them out.
Just take the stator off the the stator backing and put it on the old backing plate, that's what I did. Of course I was in a hurry I had a race in an hour.
Sometimes I go fast, but most of the time I just think about it.
The mount for the pulse trigger is part of the backing plate, since the mount is what broke off the old backing plate, it has to be removed and the new backing plate/stator used.
As stated above, an impact driver is the tool to use.
