    Budget?
What will you be doing with it?
    street?
    dirt?
    What chassis do you plan?
Who will you ride with? It's not fun to have something completely on another level than all the people you have to ride with because you will just be riding by yourself then.

If you want the end all solid full mod out of the gate get the Daytona 190. while it is a beast with its combo of bore/stroke it is smooth for how much power it has. The transmissions have been pretty good. Its a good package but $1100-$1300 buy in new. This is an engine you run pretty much stock. Very few performance parts available because it is already the top dog. Can still have an engine builder work one over for you and do custom work if you want more.

You can get a yx160 and BUILT(184+cc) you can compare to the power of the Daytona 190. You will likely spend more than a daytona 190 cost on the yx160 to get it to stock Daytona 190 level. The latest gen yx160s are pretty good most would say the trans/shifting is not as good as the daytona. Good parts support tbparts/tbolt/takegawa

If you want to keep the Honda look piranha 140 or the 150(honda style top end with daytona like clutch cover). Have performance mods support from TBparts/tbolt/takegawa with BBK/BVH/RollerRocker...etc. These engines trans/shifting about the same as the yx160. This engine is limited more on bore(stud spacing). Can put a little more bore into them than stock but not much. Have capability to stroke a lot but this makes a lower revving tractor of an engine if you get too much stroke in there.

All three of these can make a fast midsize bike. All of these are a lot of engine for a 10/12 setup.

    Hope that helps you out.

Thanks for the info I appreciate it.. and I'm just gonna ride the dirt.. none of my buddy's have one.. I'm just looking to have fun and build a little pit bike track in the back yard.. and the bike I'm looking into building is a 2005 ricardo.. I've never heard of it before the only reason I got it was because I got it off a dude for 50 bucks. And I have been looking for a pitbike.. so I just snatched it up.. but I'm really having a trouble time trying to find parts for it.. I'm wondering if it is compatible with other engine models and other aftermarket parts.. thanks for the help.. here is a pic of it..haven't done nothing to it yet just got it..
