Unless you have always run ethanol free rec fuel, you may want to do a google search for "ethanol and rubber fuel line".

Keep in mind you have a small bit of rubber fuel line after the fuel filter. Then you could also have varnish build up in the pilot.

    Until I can do this:

And see smooth round opening like this:

    I consider the pilot clogged.

Fuel screw going counterclockwise to richen. Its located at the bottom of the engine side of the carb.

I can see a super clear round hole through my pilots, and run a thin wire through no problem.

The tiny passages INSIDE the carb, I have no way of telling besides witnessing fuel vapor fly out the other end when compressed air is applied. I also soak the whole thing in an ultrasonic cleaner as suggested.

Maybe its just time for a new carb? Its an SSR E2 125cc, any good cheap carb recommendations? I don't need crazy power or genuine Japanese parts, just something that will run smooth at low to mid throttle for getting around the farm. I have a Piranha 190 for when I need to go faster lol

At one time there was a sign on the wall of the Carter Carburetor school that read,

"90% of all carburetor troubles are electrical" ( this was before electrical feedback carburetors)

Curious if a new carb solves the issue?
