Just wondered of all the people that might have stuffed a 120 into their 50 or 70 what problems they ran across along the way. I currently have a few ( clutch cables, wire harness and exhaust ). Nothing major, but I did have to grind a small relief into the kick stand bracket so the bottom bolt head would clear it. Also the air filter hitting the fuel petcock. Not sure what I am going to do there yet. The exhaust has to be lengthened about an 1" to clear the frame in back and to allow the bolt hole mounting. The brake lever is going to have to be modified to work as well ( would probably work , but doesnt stick out that far ). I am going to machine new levers for the shift and brake setups and also a new set of pegs and kickstand lever, as they seem a little wimpy and I am not going to pay the money to buy new ones ( too much when I can make them myself).
Any other problems you guys have run into stuffing one of these in ???

The clutch cable that works either for a crank or primary clutch set should work (of course each cable is differant but you just get the correct one) these cables work with a standard lever. wiring harness is easy purchase a Chinese harness with a TB CDI conversion cable for your Honda style CDI if you have one or just use your Chinese CDI beleive it or not they are set farther out on the rev limiter than a stock Honda. Exhuast systems will be differant because of the length of the cylinder but you can make a slotted mount on your frame like we do on our RCM bikes so you can mount up almost any pipe to your set up.the brake lever is easy to fab but you can use a China style and just modify it. your shift lever is easy most Chinese motors come with the short shift shaft requiring a longer mount to meet the splines on the shaft and still clear the cases. the peg stay, pegs w/kick stand are availible they are chrome moly and drop right on these Chinese motors. Finally your petcock clearance issue we installed on our RCM bikes a standard tank riser kit to clear tall carburetors I believe that is what you will need. Oh and Honda style skid plates will not fit there forward cylinder mount is shy the differance in the length of the cylinder.

I do have a kitaco cdi box installed. I was under the impression that I could just disconnect the motor harness and use the wires right from there (I the ones I disconnected. ) Am I wrong on this ? Do I have to get rid of the factory harness and install/or make one myself ?
I cut and welded the exhaust setup, ( have a protofactory setup ). If I slotted the rear mount, the bends in the pipe would hit the side panel mount. So I just lengthened the pipe 1".
I ll probably get to the shift lever and brake lever in the next few days.
Do they make or will the 50 lift kit work with a 70 ? I would think they would be the same. I was also thinking of just machining a new flat style petcock, or maybe something like a pingel setup.
The other parts will come together eventually , the main thing for me right now is the to get it running.
