Good or Bad???? wanting big forks for my fiddy....

I like mine, but I've never ridden 'zochi's or anything at that caliber. The fast ace forks were pretty stiff for me at first guess they just needed some break in time to loosen up the seals or something, 'cause they feel awesome now, they soak up small choopy braking bumps yet they handle flat landings off bigger jumps fairly well. They're very adjustable with different oil viscosities and air pressure in the chambers as well as the 20 or so rebound and compression clicks at the top of each fork leg. They're faily long though you may have to slide them up in the clamps as far as possible for your set up if that's a +2 swingarm. For the price you can find them for on ebay, you can't really go wrong.
ya they are on there all day for like 300 i really dont wanna drop a G on some forks......
I'm not saying because there mine but you can get sanos and stratos forks used in the classifieds cheap, and they are much beter forks

I have ridden a couple of diferent sets fastace forks. They are good for the money but I liked the sanos beter. The sanos and red barons are selling really cheap now because marzocchi droped there price on their forks. For a little more money you get a beter set up.

they are great forks stiff at first hammer them abit then if they are still hard let some air out the chambers in the bottom and they are fine. if you want them pumped back up with air buy a mountain bike shock pump and you can pump them back up to like 60psi i run 30 psi in mine and they feel the same as the zochies. Then adjust your rebound and preload your set to go.
I'm running the Fast Ace forks and fully adjustable shock. and as was stated above, once you break them in and then actually take your time setting them up properly, they REALLY perform well. I'm quite impressed with the value of the products.
would a honda crf50 with 88 kit no carb or anything just HD oil pump, HD clutch springs be able to pick up the fast ace forks easy ?> and will the stock front rim with drum brake work on them?
which fastace u looking at i have as01 they feel as good as the forks on my big bikes relatively cheap too
can yuo run drum on the fast ace ? and how much more do they weight than the honda 50 forks?

i just fitted my bike with the top of the line fast ace forks (AS01) and my freind has shivers and we both cant pick a winner! althought he paid 1000aud compared to my 600! really not to much in rice difference
google fast ace forks and you'll find many sellers , T bolt is a pm advert and they carry fast ace forks .
they use a large axle 15mm i think stock is 12mm , i don't think you can run your stock drum hub .
you get forks, triples for about 250.00 delivered most places , you'll still need axle, brakes and wheel/hub ETC.
I was thinking of running the 15mm to 12mm spacers on where the axle goes through the forks with my 12mm axles. Does this sound like the right track for someone wanting to use the 12mm axle and wheel with the bigger forks?
WOW this thread came alive from back in '07'.... Sh!t fast ace forks are pretty good and now they have several models since this thread started....
One fine day!
