Topend kit for SSR 90R ?

My SSR 90R pride and joy finally started smoking after more then a year of flogging. I am wondering if anyone knows of a piston and rings kit that would fit this motor ? It is stamped 86cc on it, so the normal 88cc kit parts will likely not fit. SSR is asking way too much for the complete motor (even at my dealer cost) so I am would rather rebuild if possible.

Ya, I knew about that kit from TB ... Nice to know it will fit the little 86cc, but I was actually looking for a piston & rings to keep it stock. I did not really want to add a BBK to the bike, as I am really happy with how it is now. Just wanted to freshen it up (and stop burning oil) I am a dealer with TB, so I will get a hold of Mike and see if he knows of anything.

A new 47mm piston for yours is about $20 with rings, and I have a new jug for $25 shipped. You'd be in business for less than a bore job.



BTW, the link is not a TB kit, just some stuff I have around.

Anyone know of any stock pistons/rings for sale for this motor ? And what is the ore and wrist pin size ? I have not torn it apart yet ... Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks for the info ... I really want to keep this thing stock, so I am trying to locate a piston and rings that will work. If all else fails, I guess I will have to go to the 114 kit.



Anyway, if anyone knows anything else about this little screamer, please let me know.
