finally got my x2 together

Hey guys just got my bike together besides the oil coming from the pipe it runs like crap. I have a mikuni carb on it and its a kpx 125 engine. i only see one screw on the right side but i turned it all the way in then out 1 and a half and it still wont run. it just spits and sputters and only runs if you give it gas but runs crappy. the only other screw i see is on the bottom by the bowl but fuel just comes out of that when i loosin it. and ideas?

sounds like the carb is dirty or your timing is off. check those two first.

yea we are friends hes just hatin cuz he cant keep up lol. jk but the carb is new and would the timing really be off on a new motor.

how do i chek the timing?

take the bottom of the carb off and clean it all out. then take the jets out and wash out the inside with carb cleaner. sometimes when they initially start them in the factory they do not drain the old gas out. might fix your problem.

if anyone else reads this post what would u pay for a bike that runs but doesnt run great. i lost my patients with this thing and have no time im in nj and would want pick up only

If anyone reads this i got it running with the old carb. do i turn the airfuel screw out to run richer?
