2004 KTM 450 Supermoto for sale (in PA)

My big bike.

I'm putting the KTM up for sale. Here's the skinny. It is a 2004 450 MXC that was converted over to supermoto. You get the nice 6 speed tranny and e-start this way. The big MXC tank was replaced with the white/opaque EXC model. It is a bit smaller, but holds more than the SX tanks. This bike won a few WERA championships and is set-up great for the track. I'm only selling it because i was offered a ride for a Husqvarna dealer next year and will be campaigning a new 510 SM.



The goods:



Motor;

Fresh rebuild from JD Hord at Hordpower in Ohio. You can see the dyno chart on his website www.hordpower.com under the dyno link. Look for the KTM450 motard in the "dirtbikes and motard" section. It pulled almost 53 HP.



High compression piston

Performance cam

Hord valve job

KTM Racing slipper clutch ($$$)

M4 full exhaust



Suspension;

CTR worked forks. Lowered about 1" and revalved. Sprung for a racer in the 180-190# range. It will work well for heavier riders too.

Penske triple rear shock ($$$) worked by CTR. Again, set-up is almost perfect and lowered rear about 1".



KTM hardparts 17" black wheelset with a 3.5" front and 5" rear. Runs Pirelli Supercorsa rears fine without any rubbing. A few small scratches from tire changes, but otherwise excellent shape.



Beringer 4 piston front caliper with a 310mm cast iron floating rotor. Steel lines. Stock MC (work perfect, no need for radials)



GPR steering damper

Moose handgaurds

Peg and axle sliders

Fully safety wired and WERA legal



Spares include extra gearing and levers. Have a few other bits laying around too.



Asking $5000 with everything.
