117 question

Alright guys i got a tb 117 stroker kit on its way and i had a couple questions regarding it. Ok my current setup is as follows... oil cooler, ahp race head, tak 88cc bore kit with high comp piston, 18mm carb, ahp 4 speed trans, inner rotor kit, tb manual conversion kit with billet housing, stock cases, classic honda +2.5 swingarm, douglas billet wheel, custom works rear shock, 50cal. forks with stock front wheel, all under a random ebay frame.



I just ordered the 117 stroker kit yesterday from xr50.com, along with the pre-bored cases from ahp, and a g-craft +6.25 swinger from moosehunter



will this setup be good together? what do ya guys think

Whats the bike going to be used for? Sounds pretty solid to me. Good engine setup for sure..

i was also thinking about gettin a better set of forks, what kind do ya reccomend i buy, not marzocchis tho, they are a little outta my price range.

Can't go wrong with sik50s, marzocchi 32mm, or maybe find a deal on some used 35mm zokes or stratos. If your patient and hunt the forums you should be able to find a good deal. The sik50s and 32mm zokes are both conventional style forks, where as the 35mm zokes and stratos are upside down forks. With the little extra you pay for the upside down forks you usually get a front wheel and disk brake setup. Its all on how deep the pockets are or how patient you are to find a good deal.

lookin to spend between 300 and 500 dollars and yea i would like them to come with a 12 inch tire and disc brake setup
