No oil, locked up motor, what to do?

Let a friend borrow my bike, the clutch nut came off, and the oil slowly drained out

It locked the motor up so the kick starter wont move

I pulled the head off, and the clutch cover off, and sprayed a little wd-40 on the piston, just to see if it would unlock, and I turned the crank, and moved the piston about 1/2" just to make sure it was free..

Question is, should I just pop the cylinder, hone it, and slap together and ride? Or should I pop the bottom end apart and inspect inside there?

Btw even though I turned the motor with the crank, the kick start still didn't move the motor. But I didn't put a ton of pressure one the kicker cause I didn't wanna ruin anything.

Btw worst comes to worst, my friends going to buy me all the parts I need. but if I can pop it apart, inspect, and just buy new rings and head gasket, then that's all I want to do..

check the wrist pin hole in the connecting rod. if it got scarred or galled up from lack of oil your gonna have to split it for sure.

I just took the motor off the bike, and pulled the cylinder off

the wrist pin IN the piston is ****ED, the piston wont even budge with all my force from the rod..

However the rod makes full rotations and spins fine

Also the piston has deep gouges in it, the cylinder wall isn't AS bad, but still has scratches..

I'm gonna go ahead and split the bottom end just to double check, but the bottom end seems to spin freely, the piston and wrist pin are definitely ****ed, does that mean my rod is ****ed?

and if my rod is ****ed, I either gotta score a used OEM crank? Or pay the rebuild price? AKA I wont pay the rebuild price, I'll just stroke it for $199 from trail bikes (new crank, piston, and cylinder)

already running a stage 3 88 kit from honda trail bikes

It was probably getting low on compression and worn anyways, just sucks it has to go out RIGHT after I break my hand and can't work, and I have traffic tickets to pay.

And I feel bad having my friend pay for a full stroker kit or somthing.. Going to either try and get it fixed cheap, or try and get him to go in half on the stroker

ahhhh nevermind, trail bikes $199 stroker does NOT come with a new cylinder

Not sure what I'm going to do, I guess i'll pop the motor apart tomorrow and see how the bottom end is, and try to beat that wrist pin out and see if the rod is ****ed..

Anyone have any experience? Is my rod probably ****ed? The piston will NOT spin on the rod

i have a stock 50 motor that can be used as is or used for a parts motor becasue it has a broken case and was welded. Works fine but you can take all the internals from this one and put them into your motor that is seized. Will work out perfect for you and cheap.

$100 plus shipping for the motor.
