BBR tall seat-too firm
In searching past threads, it looks as though there's not much consensus regarding aftermarket seat firmness. I have had a BBR tall seat for a couple years now and think it's way too firm. I start getting sore after about 20 minutes. Does anyone have any experience with other aftermarket seats? Thanks in advance.

Re: BBR tall seat-too firm
I have a BBR seat and think it's not firm enough. I liked the SDG I had.

Re: BBR tall seat-too firm
ive also got a bbr seat, and i think its really comfortable and cushiony. I think the five0 ones are pretty soft. The seats are really high but you drop down a lot when you sit on them IMO

beat it with a rubber mallet for 20 minutes. thats the method i came up with to soften my pitster lxr seat... those things are bricks

Re: BBR tall seat-too firm
I like my 50 RB seat, the 110 RB seat sucks. For long rides I wear a pair of bicycle shorts under my pants "ahhhh, thats comfy"

That's actually an intriguing idea. I think I will try it.

Re: BBR tall seat-too firm
I have an unknown brand tall seat and its stiff and hurts after a while, yet the stock seat feels really nice.

RB 50 seats are probably the softest
