ok well...took apart the left side and it is a bit different.there is the long spring in the bottom tube of the fork and then when you take the silver top off of the fork leg, you get this. Any idea to get the same result as you with 7in travel and be a little stiffer??

How was your rebound only fork with the 20w bacon? I used it in mine and I'm not sure if its wrong or just the way the 20w is because even with rebound turned up fast its not fast and doesn't fight too much when I compress.

ok with the spring, basicly whatever you take off of the spring is going to increase travel. if you swap the spring for like a rubber bushing that would work. thats just a cushion for when the leg bounces back out. looks like an inch and a half spring. put a 1/2" rubber bushing in there and voila yu have 7". be careful you dont have the fork leg out too far because you might bend it. and as far as the oil, the 20 wt helps, but mine still isnt as slow as i would like. but its a big improvement over the original setup.

I was looking at his profile and I think the pics you are looking for are in his album. May be wrong though.

The first few pics are the right fork (the easy one) took apart cleaned and greased the fork.. I got the fork seal number off a older post but don't think it not as important as I thought bc no oil inside the right fork... The left one is the tricky one with the gas filled cartridge could find any pics of anyone taking it apart I will post some more pics when I find a seal kit I think I only took pics apart of the cartridge.... Going to a high end bicycle shop to match up seals and try the oil trick sense the nitrogen and oil went all over the wall lol.

    thank you dirtbkr188

I will be trying this conversion over the winter months. I'll be sure to post my results here.

The Sano forks are really nice. Its too bad they ride to plush and soft.

There should have been a heavier spring in the left leg
