Just got my Tb 108 race head togther. I am happy with everything except how much I have to twist the trottle for it to be fully open. Is there any mod. I can do?

the seals will pop out with a flat blade screw driver but be carefull you dont damage them or the hub

the bearings should be pressed in and you might have to punch them out from the back side

as for the throttle you probably have a 1/2 turn throttle you might want to look for a 1/4 turn

So it has nothing to do with the carb? Is there a part you can send me a link 2?

Buy yourself a different throttle. Get a quarter turn, there should be quite a few in the used parts section.

Just to see what one you have, look at your grip closed, see where it's at, then twist WFO and see where it's at. I'm guessing you have something other than quarter turn. Let us know.

Humm, I have a sik 50s throttle from king racing. Everything was cool with the stock carb. So, is a 1/4 turn going to allow the carb to open up all the way? Thanks for the expertise.

thinking about it now i dont think there is any 1/2 turn throttles that would be really hard to twist wide open without looking like a goon

i do know that some throttles have a different throw to them i have a BBR throttle and used it on a stock 50 and 70 carbs and my PE24

only thing i have changed is the cables

to see if your wide open remove your air filter and twist the throttle you can see the slide
