New Plastics Brand Name or Not??????????????

I am looking to get new plastics and would like to know if I should buy the cheap or the name brand. Please help. Ebay has them cheap.

i have had some good luck with some cheap ones, i also have bought acerbis ones and they are worth the bucks. especially if your going to put a graphics pack on them.

ive seen nothing but bad things happen with the china ebay crap. my buddy looped out and his fender snapped in half, good plastic doesnt do that, itll just bend. ive used ufo, acerbis, and polisport and all have worked great for me. if you plan on putting a nice graphics kit on them id definitely spend the extra to get a quality set of plastics.

My Polisport rear fender is like made of rubber. I am yet to snap it.

I would try to find a set of used OEM plastics. I've seen a few super clean sets of OEM plastics go for around 50 bucks in the classifieds. I wouldn't mess with the cheap shit, I've got it on my SSR and wow its bad. I was pulling my bike out of the garage one time and the number plate got caught on another one of my bikes.... SNAP the # plate snapped in half.

Well you can get a full set of plastics and graphics...GOOD graphics for $57 shipped. So thats pretty much like getting a set of plastics for free. Yeah the rear fender will def. snap if you loop it out, but other than that its a pretty good deal.

If you're going to drop the money on an expensive graphics kit, do yourself a favor and buy quality plastics as well. The graphics that come with the cheap ebay plastics are good, but the plastics aren't..
