    Newbie needs suspension advice!!

    I'm relatively new to this site and need help with some suspension issues. My stock fork springs broke in half, and the rear shock is really worn out. I don't have a lot of money to spend so the good stuff like fox float etc is kinda out of the question. Would the Two Brothers +2 forks work good.

    TO give an idea of what type of track I ride.

    BTW Im the one in the back
    Thanks

    LOL you guys are freaking RIPPING that track. I'd seriously suggest something like this Pro 50 Super Stock Suspension Kit - Pit Bike Chassis Parts - Front Forks - TRC-1160 - TBolt USA, LLC It's a complete set up for like half the cost of SP5 forks alone, and your bike would handle fine for sure on a track like that. If you were riding stock suspension, you're seriously torturing yourself man, it bottoms out so easy.

    That kit works but you can also buy some BBR sp5 forks used for about 200 that will give you more travel and then something like a used ishock in the rear will help you out, a plus 2 swingarm will also help level the setup and you can usually find an xr70 swingarm pretty cheap. On a side note cool to see you are from Walla Walla, my grandparents live over there and my dad grew up there, I know I have seen a few track around there including the guy with all the freestyle ramps and the foam pit out by the old freeway.

    Thanks for the suggestions.I'll keep an eye out for used sp5's (don't have much money) and a swing arm.

    Nice track! I live in Pendleton and can never find anyone to ride with, we should shred sometime. Do you own any of those 3 tracks or are they of friends?

    need help ........ a friend and me where my old atv and my dirtbike one day last summer and i was sitting still and he came around the corner on my xr80 at about 30 mph completely forgetting that i just told him that there where currently no front brakes he ran straight in to my back left tire and the forks on my xr80 are know compressed down and stuck together ..... we tried putting it on blocks and pulling on it hard lol but this has never happened to us before and were not experts with suspension .......... so what do i do? get new forks? or how can i get them unstuck???

    @TUSE

    They are all my neighbors, but its alright for anyone to come out. It'll be awhile before the dirt drys out, but for sure you should come down.

    BTW are their any good tracks there?

    Sweet, sounds good, just hit me up on here when the dirt drys. As for out here, there's not really anyplace good. Pilot Rock has "The Bike Pit" which is good for big bikes and quads, but I ride my 50 on the little kid track (as the big bike track is too rough for my stock/mod) and its just turns and bumps, not very challenging. Are you guys around the French town area? Cause I remember a while ago I was out in that area and saw a guy who had a pretty nice pitbike track and little steel ramp in his front yard. Could be someone different, just wondering.
