i got speedys with the smallest spacers on think they are 2mm? on a stock frame/swinger with 10 wheels and think it would be better with a +2 swinger.
Also wanted to make small , keep the stocker feel to it, im running stock hd 88 kit , and is bit of a wheel machine haha

The +1 frame is kinda for more adult cockpit room right? It really wouldnt matter what swinger your running with a stock or +1 frame. I ran a +1 Factory Metals frame for two years with a stock front end with springs and extended fork legs and a stock swingarm out back - was cool for the tightest of backyard tracks.

thanks for the replies guys, i was thinking more of turning the bike away from being a mini with a +2 arm as well as frame. can't decide on a stock size or +1 to go on my current set up (bone stock 50!)

My vote is stock lenght frame. Float out back on stock swingarm. Stiff springs on stock legs and take some solid round stock to prevent bending.

cheers longmooie she is a beaut! There's actually a new fast50 +1 frame for sale over here at the moment i wouldnt mind but obviously its £££ and i've just bought an elka. will more then likely be the next buy tho as a mate's letting me have the swing arm cheap

still running stock forks with the +1 kit- think i will be for a while yet as the speed forks don't come up used in the UK and had a price of £900 for a new pair

the stock frame is junk and not made for adult abuse if your jumping a 50 you need an aftermarket frame
even if you weld the stock frame is still not as strong as the chromoly frames and then theres the horrible head tube rake
yes you could cut it and weld it but its really not worth it (im a fabricator welder and know my shit when it comes to metal)
heres a pic of me on my first 50 i had i could not ride it with +1 forks cos im way too tall 6'4" even with the SP5s and BBR bars that are the tallest i had to roll the bars forward so much with the stock frame, once i got the +1 frame i could run my bars straight inline with the forks

yup thats a XR70 swingarm in the top two photos so thats a plus 2" over stock
the speedys have a 1" spacer i think
its not the spacer that give it that rake its the stock frame and thats not bent its just how there set up for kids
