i think the float shocks for A arms not MX?
looks smart tho!
Ya man your right but rigging something up a little differently
It would be way to much leverage for the float ? i would assume...
it should work out ok as long as you pump that shock full of air to compensate for the extra leverage
the only thing that might be a issue is the shock length it might be a little low in the rearonce your get the chassie built post some photos of the roller
What about the valving? There's a difference between the 110 and 50 float valving. I would think there would be here too. I guess you'll find out soon Hahaha

Thanks for the positive support! lol No hard feelings. I've always wanted to see a float on an MX style.Originally Posted by dirtbkr188

As pointed out the float is for "a" style swing arms. I can't see this working out too well. I guess you might be able to pump some extra air into it but still.... What happened to that fox podium shock you had?
I ran a shock for astyle on an mx setup and it was way to soft, got a fastace mx shock which is stiff but rideable, what is a good reasonably priced mx shock
if you care about that float I wouldn't do it. The leverage is alot greater and will blow up that shock. My friend put a regular I-shock on his MX swinger like that just to try while the big shock was being shipped. First time he sat on it it bent the shaft instantly. If you don't care if that shock dies then experiment but if you care about it at all its probably going to ruin it.

Thanks 4 the advice, decided not to use the float for that...thought it could have been a nice light weight setup but not worth risking the parts!
try a longer one maybe made for a quad
