Takegawa purchase from Fast50s

Hey guys, I'm buying some Tak parts from Fast50s but they need to bulk up the order so they get their discount.

If anyone is thinking of getting some Tak parts from them, now is a good time to get their order quantity up and get the stuff in without waiting too long, otherwise we wait until the quantity is large enough. These guys can't stock stuff that will sit.

Their prices are the same as everyone else, not a huge discount on the good stuff as we know.

I talked to a guy on the phone this week regarding the exact same thing. By no means am I jacking your thread! He said, "I am not carrying too much Tak stuff anymore. Their just so expensive to stock I cannot afford to keep them on my shelf." They are top rated for sure. PM me if you need his name as I don't want to post here any different companies. It sounds like Fast 50s is in the same boat, they need to bulk up their order to even get parts shipped from overseas. I know of no other way of helping a fellow minibiker out??

Timing is good if you need something. I've got a Tak auto clutch coming and an 88cc R stage +D w/ PE 24 carb and I told him S-12 cam. Kinda spendy but you get a full blown top end. I almost think you got to get this stuff while these guys are still here. Tough way to make a living these days.

Not to Jack the thread either but I've searched for tak parts before. The conclusion I came to is chp or Minimob. They have the stuff in stock and if they don't its not a hassle for them to get it. The companies mass order due to the air freight charges from Japan. Good luck!

I used to work for MiniMob when they had a warehouse in ND, Mike (owner) moved it out of state. Most products ship worldwide out of Winnipeg now, with a satellite warehouse in Long Beach. Likely the largest Takegawa inventory in North America between the two facilities. They have orders arriving from Kitaco and Takegawa every two weeks, so if something isn't in stock, they grab it for you quick, no extra cost for you. No waiting for mass orders. All Takegawa and Kitaco parts are also available through Minimob at every Honda, Kawi, Yami, Suzi etc dealer in North America. BTW, Wisco, be sure to let your vendor know the S-12 cam is a +R cam. R-10 R15 R20 and the corresponding decomp versions for the R-Stage heads.
