    Shift shaft

Alright so I picked up a crf50 with a 108 kitted motor withe the tak clutch and from 2 to 3 it sometimes hits neutral. I'm thinking a bent shift fork??? And when replacing one of this do you have to split cases ? And if you think it's something else causing this please let me know

When that does come lose does the shift shaft it self (where you shift it with your foot) become a little lose ? Mine jiggles back and forth alittle to much

No just the shift drum would have side play , all the shift shafts have some free play .

First off you got a hell of a deal. Are you asking about how to get the clutch basket off? Theres two versions of the tak clutch, the main difference being the basket. One basket is held on with a simple circlip, thats the clutch kit for the tak transmission. The other version the basket is held on with a circlip from hell, looks like a torture device, thats for the kit for the stock transmission.
