Yeah the swinger def looks interesting, that's why I was curious if anyone knew about them or actually had one. Wouldn't drop the bread unless I knew it actually performed well and held up
Chinese crap! there was a UK company (chinese imported bikes) back in 04 or 05 that had swingarms that shape but were not billet i think they called there bikes Monsters
anyways they looks really odd when you see one of the bike with that swingarm
LOL ! Idk what "jank" means, but it sounded funny! Imma use that word all the time now!
As for the shape, they are tring to do the same thing as the hoops style Honda swing arms. Raising the shock pivot point reduces the ratio. On your normal strait or big bike style swingers the ratio is 1:1. That is forcing the shock to be over worked. The shock must be valved super tight with a crazy 1000lb+ spring.
A hoop style swinger changes the ratio and makes it about 6:1. This give the shock more mechanical advantage. Now if the swing arm moves 6 inches, the shock only compresses 1 inch.
Linkage on your bike bike does the exact same thing as a hoop swinger ... But doesn't look ugly doing it! lol
jap companies figured this out in the early 80's. Vintage bikes with the two shocks on the side didn't work well do to the 1:1 ratio. And because the linkage worked so well only 1 shock was need and "mono shock" was born.

Can't tell you much about them because I've always kept away from them haha
thanks for the input everybody think i will spend my money else where lol
I'm also in Oz and was looking at the Atomik 125cc
Would like opinions on other 125cc mini/pit bike brands worth purchasing
The swingarm you are looking at is an older design. It was the first alternative to the "hoop" swingarms. It fell out of favor as soon as the straight swingarm bikes came out like Piranha.
