I think it is also but it benefits a little in stunting with out there being a rev limiter

Definitely helped with being able to ring out first while trying to wheelie. didn't help much on the top speed, but I didn't expect much to be honest. I have a new sprocket fro the rear coming soon and we will see if that helps or changes things. I am expecting a few more mph with a more usable first gear.

You got exactly what came with the gained RPM and that was it.

You can get 50+mph out of a 50cc engine with cam, valve springs, carb, port cleanup, high compression piston.

I bet your 88cc probably can't breath and won't rev very high if you have stock carb.
Once it can get air then a cam and valve springs will be needed. might as well get the race head. it never ends
