    Help!!

I installed a Pirahna 140cc motor in my 50. Instead of using the Pirahana wiring harness we used the stock harness and cdi. Bike fires up and runs but when you ride it, it breaks up pretty good. Could this be due to using the stock 50 cdi and not the harness and cdi that came with the Pirahna motor?

That could be your issue, did you set up your carb already? Also could be a source.

Don't know if your cdi might be the issue but after reading many threads in the past couple of months, I would recommend you double check and make sure that your ground wire is secured to the frame tightly.

I haven't done any adjustments to carb. I saw there was an adjustment screw air/fuel. Ground wire is tight to the frame. I'm lost so my first concern was the fact we used the stock 50 cdi

Is it a stock carb, or aftermarket?

Stock jetting is lean man. Im still working on jetting myself. Im at #105 main.....#20 pilot with a yoshimura rs2 and still a little lean on top. Depending on what pipe you are running. you will most likely have to rejet.

I used the factory harness so I could run the key and ignition for a cleaner look. I ordered the Piranha rev box cdi off eBay so hoping that will help it
