Someone is claiming these are BBR SP5's. I've never seen ones that aren't black and I know that's not the proper decal but those can be replaced.

Maybe these are an older version I'm not familiar with? Just looking at you guys who know your stuff.

I've always known the SP-5's to be black with the sticker that says SP-5 on them, but I do know that they are identical to the XR/CRF70 forks and you can use the 70 fork seals to rebuild the SP-5 forks. I'd be inclined to think the ones in the pics above are 70 forks with the incorrect sticker.

Those are from my local cl.

I had a set of early sp-5's that were silver. They had the gold clamps yo.

They could be early version BBR forks.
About 2001-2003 we were modifying XR70 forks to fit the XR50.
Welding on a drum stop and cable mount that these appear to have. A set of clamps would be need to fit a XR50.
Late 2003 we had done our own version that is a true 5" of travel with black lowers.

    Hope that helps out.

I stand corrected, I didn't know there was an early version that were silver, thank you for the clarification.
